New Skills!

Even though I love the process of handbuilding, I feel that you can't earn the title of ceramicist until you have mastered the wheel.  I was a bit traumatised in high school, when my lumps of clay just kept spinning out of control and off onto the floor.  But thankfully I am (slightly) more patient now and here are the results of a few lessons from my even more patient teacher, Shirley Battrick.  The bottoms still have to be turned of course, but the shapes aren't too hideous!

Welcome to my blog!

Well, at the moment I am really talking to no-one because I just finished creating my blog.  This is my first foray into the daunting world of social media (apart from Pinterest) and it only took about 4 hours to figure out how to put a picture, a widget and some words on page!!  I should have got a 10 year old to do it - it probably would have taken about 15 minutes.  Anyhoo...I hope to give you (my potential readers and followers) some insight into my creative processes and to share all my ceramic related news and product updates.  Maybe even a few little surprises and giveaways along the way!! Stay tuned...
